We're looking for a Rector

Are you passionate about bringing people to Christ, building them up in Christ and sending them out in Christ?

If so, God may be leading you to be the next Rector at Grace Anglican Network, which consists of St Matthews Church, Kensington and St Bartholomew’s Church, Norwood, which work jointly under a covenant arrangement to make Jesus known in the inner eastern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.

Under the covenant, the Rector of St Matthews is also the Rector of St Bartholomew’s to which an Associate Minister is appointed. The two churches retain the right to appoint their own Rector, subject only to the Archbishop of Adelaide issuing a license to officiate.

We are seeking a diligent servant leader who exemplifies a faith-filled, spiritually mature, Christ-centred life. The successful appointee must exhibit the capacity to preach confidently from the Holy Bible, asserting its authority as the unambiguous and inspired Word of God, relevant to today and drawing people to Christ as the only source of salvation. This leader will work cooperatively with the Network Joint Council, demonstrating the skills to lead ordained and lay staff, together with lay volunteers, to further develop and implement Mission Action Plans to extend God’s Kingdom, through ministry to children, youth, young families and the elderly living in the eastern suburbs.

For further information please read the Parish Profile and the Position Description below or available from the Selection Committee Chairman, Grant Chapman, telephone: +61 408 812 296 or email: grant@senatorchapman.com who will also respond to any queries.

To apply, please submit your application at your earliest convenience, being sure that you address each of the Application Requirements specified in the Position Description.
